山梨県市川三郷町に残る有形文化財「旧二葉屋」の敷地内にある酒蔵を改修したギャラリー。現地のまちづくり団体「市川マップの会」と協同で設計し、地域活性化の拠点づくりを目指した。ギャラリーの内外で多様な活動が行われるよう、母屋とギャラリーを繋ぐように舞台と飛び石を配置した。

This is a conversion project from a warehouse into a gallery. We design this building with the cooperation of the local machizukuri group “Ichikawa map no Kai”, with the objective of revitalize the area. A stage and stepping stones were arranged so that the main building and the gallery are connected and many activities can be performed inside and outside of this gallery.
